With over ten years photographing and working with newborns, I'm well accustomed to the nerves and anxiety that come with welcoming your new baby. Your session will be relaxed, with a focus on capturing connection and the sweet details of your brand new little person. 

When preparing for your newborn session at my studio, comfort and simplicity are key. I recommend dressing your baby in a zip-up or button-up onesie for easy changes on arrival, and avoiding anything too tight that might leave marks on their skin. Neutrals, soft tones, and natural fabrics photograph beautifully, and I have a carefully curated selection of wraps, outfits, and blankets ready for you to choose from. If you're breastfeeding, feel free to feed right before we begin or during the session, there’s no rush and plenty of time for cuddles and breaks. For families bringing toddlers or siblings, I always encourage bringing a few small snacks, their favourite toy or book, and something to keep little hands busy between photos. We’ll start with family and sibling images first so little ones can relax (or head home with a parent) while we focus on baby. My studio is a calm, warm space designed to make everyone ~ big and small ~ feel at ease while we capture this special chapter in your family’s story.
